Sudan JMS endorses the World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) Policy Statement on Geopolitical Intrusion on Editorial Decisions. Sudan JMS also endorses the\u00a0International Committee of Medical Journal Editors<\/a>\u00a0(ICMJE<\/a>) Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals. Sudan JMS adheres to the principles of the\u00a0Committee on Publication Ethics<\/a>\u00a0(COPE<\/a>).<\/p>\n

All papers published in KnE Publishing have been screened for plagiarism using the Crossref Similarity Check powered by iThenticate. All Knowledge E published content is permanently archived in Portico, a not-for-profit organization with a mission and singular focus to provide a permanent archive of electronic scholarly content.<\/p>\n

Aims and Scope<\/p>\n

Sudan Journal of Medical Sciences<\/b><\/em>\u00a0(SJMS<\/b><\/em>) is an Open Access, peer-reviewed journal that is devoted to publishing high-quality original papers in clinical medicine and basic sciences. SJMS publishes the following article types: original research articles, review articles, case reports, letters to the Editor and commentaries.<\/p>\n

SJMS aims to provide national, regional and an international forum for encouraging interdisciplinary discussions and contributing to the advancement of medicine, benefiting readers and authors by accelerating the dissemination of research information and providing maximum access to scholarly communication.<\/p>\n

The journal is supported by Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Omdurman Islamic University, Sudan, who covers the cost of publication on behalf of the authors on acceptance of their article.<\/p>\n
